Volunteers are an essential part of the Glebe House residential programme.
They come from all walks of life and over the years we have had volunteers from many countries worldwide.
Volunteers work together as a team and are helped by the Glebe House staff and other experienced people.
Volunteers are needed during the summer to assist on the residential activity programmes that we run.
All volunteers working with children must be over 18 years.
Child protection vetting checks are carried out on all applicants.
We have a simple application procedure, contact us for an application form.
If you are interested in working with children between the ages of 6—14 years old in a residential setting during the summer months of July and August you should be prepared for a hectic but enjoyable experience.
The summer residential volunteers are fully residential, which means that volunteers will be living and working
at Glebe House in Strangford and given full board and accommodation.
Each volunteer will have a shared bedroom.
Experience can help, but is not essential, as Glebe House provides training and support to help you learn and gain experience
